Largely thanks to the drive of Louis Schmitz, there was an active youth workshop programme at this UNICA. A great bunch of people under 25 from many countries got together with a handful of talented workshop leaders. In the true spirit of UNICA they established bonds and friendships that crossed all national boundaries. These quickies and exercises they made do not represent their best work, of course, but indicate the talent of the film makers who will be the heart of our movement in the future.
Grâce en grande partie à l'impulsion de Louis Schmitz, il y a eu un programme actif d'ateliers pour les jeunes à l'UNICA. Un grand groupe de personnes de moins de 25 ans venant de nombreux pays s'est réuni avec une poignée d'animateurs d'ateliers talentueux. Dans le véritable esprit de l'UNICA, ils ont établi des liens et des amitiés qui ont traversé toutes les frontières nationales. Ces quickies et exercices qu'ils ont faits ne représentent pas leur meilleur travail, bien sûr, mais indiquent le talent des cinéastes qui seront au cœur de notre mouvement à l'avenir.
Vor allem dank der Initiative von Louis Schmitz gab es bei dieser UNICA ein aktives Workshop-Programm für Jugendliche. Ein großer Haufen von Menschen unter 25 Jahren aus vielen Ländern traf sich mit einer Handvoll talentierter Workshop-Leiter. Im wahren Sinne von UNICA knüpften sie Bindungen und Freundschaften, die alle Landesgrenzen überschritten. Diese Quickies und Übungen, die sie gemacht haben, stellen natürlich nicht ihre beste Arbeit dar, sondern zeigen das Talent der Filmemacher, die das Herzstück unserer Bewegung in der Zukunft sein werden.
