I was born in Skopje, Macedonia in 1985. I have been an active filmmaker since 7th grade, when I first joined the Academic Cinema Club from Skopje. So far, I have made about 10 short films of my own, and participated in the making of over 20 more.
I attended many film festivals, for instance in Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Tunisia, Poland, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Austria, where I had the chance to present my film work. My films have been awarded at several international film festivals, as well as at the National Festival of Non-professional Film in Macedonia. My film work is often in associated with the work of my father, Petre Chapovski.
Over the past six years, from 2008 until 2013, I have been the delegate for the Cinema Association of Macedonia at the UNICA congresses. I was also the coordinator of the International Film Festival - OSFAF, that took place in Skopje, during the period between 2006-2009. From 2012, I'm in charge of the cooperation with our partner organization from France, the Union Méditerranéenne de Cinéma et Vidéo.
Besides being active in the film field, I have a different professional life.
I hold a degree in Economics, and I have been working as a banker for 7 years. I have never quit my film work (nor do I plan to), and I have always tried to keep up with both, the film making and the banking (so far successfully).
Submitting my application for candidacy at UNICA was not an easy decision. However, the incentive was to bring positive change to the organization and help UNICA in managing the newly established challenges.
Being honored that my country, the Republic of Macedonia, might partake in the organizational structure of UNICA, I will definitely try to fulfill the following key points:
Maintaining UNICA as an institution that takes care of the non-professional filmmaking
Bringing UNICA closer to the young filmmakers
Strengthening the cinema and video club network of each member federation
Making UNICA a real world association for non-professional cinema.
Je suis né à Skopje, en Macédoine en 1985. Je suis un cinéaste actif depuis la 7e année, au moment où je suis entré au académique Cinema Club de Skopje. Jusqu'à présent, je me suis tourné environ 10 courts métrages de la mienne, et participé à la réalisation de plus de 20 autres.
J'ai participé à de nombreux festivals de films, par exemple en Croatie, la Bulgarie, la Serbie, la Grèce, la Tunisie, la Pologne, la Suisse, le Luxembourg et l'Autriche, où je eu la chance de présenter mon travail de film. Mes films ont été récompensés dans plusieurs festivals internationaux de cinéma; ainsi que lors du Festival national de tournage non-professionnel en Macédoine. Mon travail de film est souvent associée aux travaux de mon père, Petre Chapovski.
Au cours des six dernières années, à partir de 2008 jusqu'en 2013, je suis le délégué de l'Association Cinéma de Macédoine lors des congrès de l'UNICA. Je suis également le coordinateur du Festival International du Film - OSFAF, qui a eu lieu à Skopje, au cours de la période comprise entre 2006-2009. A partir de 2012, je suis en charge de la coopération avec notre organisation partenaire de la France, l'Union Méditerranéenne de Cinéma et Vidéo.
En plus d'être actif dans le domaine du film, je dois une vie différente dans ma profession.
Je détiens un diplôme en économie, et je travaille comme un banquier pendant 7 ans. Je ne l'ai jamais quitter mon travail de film (et je ne le faire), et je l'ai toujours essayé de garder à la fois, le cinéma et le secteur bancaire (jusqu'ici avec succès).
Envoi de ma demande de candidature à l'UNICA fut pas une décision facile. Toutefois, l'incitation était d'apporter un changement positif à l'organisation et à aider l'UNICA dans la gestion des défis nouvellement établies.
Être honoré que mon pays, la République de Macédoine, pourrait participer à la structure organisationnelle de l'UNICA, je vais certainement essayer de remplir les principaux points suivants:
pour maintenir l'UNICA comme une institution, qui se soucie de l'cinéma non professionnel.
pour amener l'UNICA rapprocher des jeunes auteurs.
de renforcer le réseau du club cinéma et vidéo de chaque fédération membre
pour faire l'UNICA une association du monde réel pour le cinéma non professionnel.
Ich wurde in Skopje geboren 1985, Mazedonien. Ich habe ein aktiver Autor seit der 7. Klasse, zu welcher Zeit ich das Academic Cinema Club von Skopje beigetreten. Bisher habe ich über 10 Kurzfilme von meinem eigenen drehte, und beteiligte sich an der Herstellung von mehr als 20 mehr.
Ich besuchte viele Festivals, zum Beispiel in Kroatien, Bulgarien, Serbien, Griechenland, Tunesien, Polen, der Schweiz, Luxemburg und Österreich, wo ich die Chance, meine Filmarbeit zu präsentieren. Meine Filme wurden bei mehreren internationalen Filmfestivals ausgezeichnet; sowie in der National Festival der Nichtberufs Film in Mazedonien. Meine Filmarbeit wird oft in mit der Arbeit meines Vaters, Petre Chapovski verbunden.
Im Laufe der letzten sechs Jahre, von 2008 bis 2013, war ich der Delegierte für das Kino Verein Mazedonien an den UNICA Kongressen. Ich war auch der Koordinator der Internationalen Filmfestspiele - OSFAF, die in Skopje stattfand, in der Zeit zwischen 2006 bis 2009. Ab 2012 bin ich verantwortlich für die Zusammenarbeit mit unserer Partnerorganisation aus Frankreich, die Union Méditerranéenne de Cinéma et Video.
Außer sein in der Filmbereich tätig, ich habe ein anderes Leben in meinem Beruf.
Ich habe einen Abschluss in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, und ich habe als Bankkaufmann für 7 Jahre gearbeitet. Ich habe noch nie verlassen meine Filmarbeit (noch werde ich tun), und ich habe immer versucht, mit beiden zu halten, das Filmemachen und das Banken (bisher erfolgreich).
Einreichen meinen Antrag für die Kandidatur bei UNICA war keine leichte Entscheidung. Allerdings war der Anreiz, eine positive Veränderung für die Organisation zu bringen und die UNICA in die Verwaltung der neu geschaffenen Herausforderungen zu helfen.
Geehrt, dass mein Land, die Republik Mazedonien, könnte in der Organisationsstruktur der UNICA teilnehmen, werde ich auf jeden Fall versuchen, die folgenden wichtigen Punkte zu erfüllen:
um die UNICA als Institution, die für die nicht-professionellen Filmemachen interessiert zu halten.
um die UNICA näher an den jungen Autoren zu bringen.
um die Kino- und Videoclub Netzes in den einzelnen Mitgliedsverband zu stärken
um die UNICA eine echte Weltverband für nicht-professionelle Kino zu machen.
