Paweł Łęski (POL)

He has graduated from the National Theater Academy in Warsaw (acting), and completed postgraduate studies in journalism at the University of Warsaw.

He also studied directing at ESEC in Paris.

He has played in dozens of plays and several films and television series, among which we can find, Le Grand Mome – a series for the French television channel TF1, the role of Smolensky in the American television  mini-series Cain and Abel, the role of Pierre in the long-running Polish television series, Klan, as well as the role of  Wiktor in yet another Polish television series, Sprawa na Dziś.

He has also made several documentaries for Polish television, including, Burza mózgów, Język filmu and Próba.

He has directed the play Merlin Mongoł and has written two books: Zabić Prezydenta and Szelest warg.

He is frequently called upon to be a jury member at international amateur film festivals.

He established the first private acting school in Poland (1991-2000).

He is currently working on an acting textbook.

Er hat Staatliche Theaterhochschule in Warschau (Fakultät – Schauspielkunst) absolviert, journalistisches Aufbaumstudium   an der Warschauer Universität,  und Regiestudium ESEC in Paris.

Schauspieler spielte er in zahlreichen Theatervorstellungen, Filmen und Fernsehserien u.a. „Le Grand Mome“- eine Fernsehserie für das französische Fernsehen TFI, Haupt- und Titelrolle. Als Smoleński in „Kain und Abel“, eine Fernsehserie für das amerikanische  TV , als Pierre in „Klan“ polnische Fernsehserie , als Wiktor in der polnischen Fernsehserie „Sprawa na dziś“ („Fall für heute“).

Autor der Dokumentarilme für das polnische Fernsehen u.a. „Burza mózgów“ („Brainstorming“), „Język filmu“ („Filmsprache“), „Próba“ („Die Probe“).

Im Theater hat er das Theaterstück „Merlin Mongoł“ inszeniert.Er ist auch Autor von Büchern: „Zabić prezydenta“ „Den Präsidenten töten“ und „Szelest warg“ („Rascheln der Lippen“).

Mehrmals war er Jurymitglied auf den Festivals der unabhängiger Filme in Polen.

Er ist Gründer der ersten polnischen privaten Schauspielschule.

Zurzeit arbeitet er am Lehrwerk - Schauspielerkunst.

Tomasz Schimscheiner (POL)

In the years 1985-1989, he studied acting at the Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Cracow.

He has played in many theatre plays, feature films and TV productions, working with the directors such as K. Kutz, J. Stuhr, W. Saniewski, W. Solarz, W. Smarzowski, M. Dejczer, A. Więcek, R. Zioło and J.Machulski.

He is involved with Teatr Ludowy from Cracow.

Wolfgang Allin (AUT)

He was born in 1943, finished his studies at Vienna Technical University with a degree in architecture and worked as an architect and planner for international construction projects and urban development in Germany and the Middle East.

Among other things he worked with the well-known architect I.M. Pei.

He is a member of the Austrian Association of Film Authors (VÖFA).

Since 1980 he has been the author of award-winning short films in close cooperation with his wife Angelika Allin. They have successfully taken part in numerous national and international film competitions like, UNICA, Festival of the Nations Ebensee, Danubiale in Krems, International Videograndprix Liechtenstein, International Film Competitions Duisburg, Filmvideo Montecatini Terme, Window of the East Berlin etc

He has been member of the jury at national and international competitions in Austria.

Wolfgang Allin is strongly convinced of the assumption that a film should be connected with its author’s attitudes and commitment, in other words it should deliver a message influenced by feelings and humanity.

Wolfgang Allin (AUT)

Geboren 1943, Studium an der Technischen Universität in Wien, Abschluss mit Diplom, Architekt und Planer für internationale Bauprojekte und Städtebau in Deutschland und im Vorderen Orient, unter anderem mit dem Architekten I.M.Pei.

Mitglied im Verband der österreichischen Filmautoren (VÖFA).

In Zusammenarbeit mit seiner Frau Angelika Allin Gestalter von preisgekrönten Kurzfilmen seit 1980. Teilnahme und zahlreiche Preise bei nationalen und internationalen Filmwettbewerben wie UNICA,  Festival der Nationen Ebensee, Danubiale Krems an der Donau, Internationaler Videograndprix Liechtenstein, Internationale Filmtage Duisburg, Fenster des Ostens Berlin,  Filmvideo Montecatini Terme etc.

Als Juror tätig bei Landes- und nationalen Wettbewerben in Österreich.

Ein Leitfaden für die Beurteilung eines Filmes ist nach seiner Meinung, wenn der Film sich mit wichtigen Aussagen und Engagement des Autors verbinden lässt und ganz einfach ein menschliches, die Gefühle betreffendes Anliegen darstellt.

 Ctirad Śtipl (CZE)

President of the Czech Film Amateur Federation (CVU) and editor-in-chief of the UNICA NEWS.

Radek Štipl is 63 years old, married and has got two daughters and a son.

He passed the Polygraphic College in Prague and worked as a graphic designer in various printing offices.

He is an editor of the magazine of the  Czech UNICA Committee "Cas videa" (VIDEOhobby) too.

He was the secretary-general of the preparative committee on the 56th. UNICA Congress in Hradec Králové (CZ) in 1994.

He organizes the film makers in Mohelnice and the festival "Film Song and Video Clip" above all since many years. This competition has already got to the 30st. edition this year and an international principal.

Every year he also organized an amateur film show on the occasion of the country and folk festival "the Mohelnice Stage Coach" where about 5,000 spectators take part.

He began to shoot his own feature films, documentary and reportage films and video clips in 1978.

He and his friend from the Union of Austrian Film and Video Amateurs, Hermann Blaschke, have already organized 14 year's film and video comparative country shows of Austrian and Czech amateurs very successfully.

 Ctirad Śtipl (CZE)

Präsident des Tschechischen UNICA Komitees und Chefredakteur der UNICA NEWS.

Radek Štipl ist 63 Jahre alt, verheiratet und hat zwei Töchter und ein Sohn.

Er absolvierte die Polygraphische Oberschule in Prag uns Arbeitete als Graphiker in verschiedenen Druckereien.

Er ist auch Redakteur der Zeitschrift des Tschechischen UNICA Komitees "Chas videa" (VIDEOhobby).

Am 56. UNICA Kongress in Hradec Králové (Tschechien) im Jahre 1994 war er Generalsekretär des Vorbereitungskomitees.

Seit vielen Jahren organisierte er Filmamateure in Mohelnice und vor allem den Wettbewerb Filmlied und Videoklip, der in diesem Jahre schon den 30. Jahrgang erlebt.

Jedes Jahr organisiert er auch eine Filmschau der Amateurfilme an dem "Mohelnicer Stellwagen", wo fast 5.000 Zuschauer zu sein pflegten.

Er begann zu Ende der 70. Jahren Spielfilme, Dokumentarfilme, Reportagen und Videoclips zu drehen.

Mit seinem Freund aus dem Verband österreichischer Film- end Videoamateure Hermann Blaschke hat er auch schon 14 Jahrgänge Film und Video Ländervergleichsschau der Film- und Videoamateure Österreichs und der Tschechischen Republik erfolgreich organisiert.

Daniel Ziegler (FRA)

A self-taught filmmaker, Daniel Ziegler works professionally in advertising and communication. Manager of an advertising team, he theatralises the commercial actions of a French distribution group.

As an enlightened amateur filmmaker he made his first film on the banks of the Ganges in 1973.

After being an active member of the local cineclub, he founded a production unit for films and events at the beginning of the 1980’s, Clap Production. www.clap-production.com

Fascinated by his region of origin, Alsace, all his work including films and books, is linked to the history of this region. As a director of films above all, he has shot in all formats and has made several docu-fictions for French television. President of the UNICA jury in Bourges in 1995,. His film career has been rewarded by numerous prizes. Father of 3 children, Daniel Ziegler is married and lives in Mulhouse (France).

Dario Juričan (HRV)

Born in Zagreb, Croatia, where he completed BA (Hons) in German & Comparative Literature in 2004.

In 2006 he graduated in Filmmaking from the London Film Academy (LFA).

He wrote, directed and produced diverse shorts.

Juričan runs a film club Blank – a film incubator in Zagreb (organizing film workshops, short film production & animation - www.blankzg.hr).

He works as a freelancer on TV and realizes independent film projects as a director/producer.

Dario Juričan (HRV)

Er wurde in Zagreb in Kroatien geboren. Dort hat er im Jahre 2004 Bachelor-Studium in der deutschen und Vergleichenden Literaturwissenschaft  abgeschlossen.

Im Jahre 2006 hat er einen Abschluss in Filmproduktion an der Londoner Filmakademie (LFA) gemacht.

Er hat Drehbücher geschrieben und als Regisseur und Produzent bei den Kurzfilmen  gearbeitet.

Juričan leitet einen Filmclub Blank – eine Filmwiege in Zagreb (er organisiert Filmworkshops, produziert und animiert Kurzfilme – www.blankzg.hr).

Er arbeitet als Freelancer für Fernsehen und realisiert unabhängige Filmprojekte als Regisseur und Produzent.

Krista Maajärv (EST)

Born in 1985, in Kuressaare, Estonia.

Graduated from the Tallinn University Film and Video Department with a major in TV directing in 2007.

A year later, she enrolled in the MA Film Theory programme at the Tallinn University.

She has worked in Estonian Television since 2006 as an assistant director and director.

Her works include a TV series, Õnne 13, a historical TV series, Tuulepealne maa, and a TV diary from Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival entitled Pöffihunt.

She has worked for Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and written critical reviews for the magazine “Teater. Muusika. Kino.” (Theater. Music. Cinema).

She has been a script advisor for several student films.

Currently, she works as a director of the weekday morning programme Terevisioon.

Krista Maajärv (EST)

Sie wurde im Jahre 1985 in Kuressaare, Estland, geboren.

2006 absolvierte sie die Fakultät für Film und Video an der Universität Tallinn,. Sie spezialisiert sich auf Fernsehregie.

Seit 2008 besucht sie einen Film-Theorie Kurs an der Universität Tallinn.

Seit 2006 arbeitet sie für das Estnische Fernsehen als Regieassistentin und Regisseur.

Zu ihren Filmen zählen: Fernsehserie Õnne 13, geschichtliche Fernsehserie  Tuulepealne maa, Black Nights Film Festival Fernsehtagebuch Pöffihunt.

Sie arbeitete für Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival und schrieb Rezensionen für „Teater. Muusika. Kino.” Magazin.

Mehrmals hat sie die Studenten der Drehbücher betreffs beraten.

Zur Zeit arbeitet sie als Regisseur einer Alltagsmorgensendung Terevisioon.
