On Friday May 10, 2002 Maurice Rispal passed away.

Maurice had been a prominent member of the UNICA Committee and an enthusiastic representative of the French speaking countries affiliated to UNICA.

He had been Secretary General from 1970 till 1972

Vice President of the UNICA Committee from 1972 till 1987

and UNICA's representative in the CICT of UNESCO from 1975 till 1997.

The UNICA Committee expressed its great gratitude towards Maurice Rispal for his work for UNICA and offered its condolences to his wife Marika Kasemaa.
