During the UNICA 2007 congress the following
announcements were made:
- The UNICA 2008 congress will take place in
Hammamet (Tunisia) from June 28 till July 6 2008.
- The location will be at the complex of
Les Orangers, where the
theater and 3- to 5-stars hotels are located.
- The Tunisian Ministry of Culture has promised
logistical and financial support .
- A delegation of the UNICA Committee will visit
Tunisia in October 2007 to discuss arrangements for the congress.
- On return of the delegation more information
will be given about the programme and the costs of the UNICA 2008 congress.
- It is planned to offer a package deal, consisting
of hotel accommodation (3, 4 or 5 stars) and a congress card for the
participants, possibly with an extension of the stay with one week before or
after the congress period.
- Participants of the congress have to take care for
their own flights, either to Tunis or Monastir.
