UNICA Youth
At the time of the UNICA 2005
in Blankenberge, we offer to the young filmmakers
(< 25 years) a special program of accompaniment.
We know that for the young people the realization of
films as an amateur is not always obvious: the
material necessary is expensive, much of clubs have
only older members, considerable ideas do not end...
The accompaniment is done by Rony Claus : a
Belgian scenario writer with an experience of
several years in the realization of films of a level
higher than the average and moreover a talented
professor, in his club and far beyond in all
Flanders. He will be assisted by his son, Bram, who
follows the courses of a school of cinema in
Brussels. We cannot offer better accompaniment to
you.
Program : reporting on the excursions,
daily reports of the contest or the events in
relation of the contest, or the realization of a
fiction film... These are only proposals which could
be carried out by mutual agreement.
Equipment : 3 cameras, 2 computers with
programs for editing & a space where you will be
able to work on the spot...
In practice : In practice: sleeping in an
youth hostel at Blankenberge, we are planning
transport to the various demonstrations, possibility
of meals for all the budgets...

If you want to take part in all the activities, a
congress card costs € 170,00. For reservations
after June 1, the price is € 190,00.
However you can take part separately:
• Opening banquet : € 50,00
• Half-day excursion to Ieper: € 70,00
• Half-day excursion to Brugge: € 60,00
• Closing banquet: € 50,00
If you do not want to take part in the events quoted
above but only to see film projections: by
registering you and by paying € 10,00 you will
receive a participant's package for remembering the
UNICA 2005. It contains the program of projections
and various gifts in a practical bag. You will also
receive a badge.
